That's what makes him different from De La Hoya. His contract extended pass seven years because him and his team sat down and signed the extension

Dwyer represented Ward in court last time,if Ward has him representing him again really don't fancy his chances of winning.

Didn't know he got Mr.T the role as Clubber Lang.

Also Ward seems really optimistic about him fighting in March/April despite this lawsuit... said meetings went well.... all Goosen had to say is he's disappointed in Ward

I have a feeling that this will lead to a massive buy-out of Ward's contract, Dan Goosen is just protecting himself and I'm sure he wants compensation to let Ward free. Didn't Austin Trout sue Greg Cohen to get out of his promotional contract so he could sign with Golden Boy?

It sounds like Ward willing to sell his soul to the devil (Arum) for a little bit of extra money. He may get a little more money by fighting Chavez, but the negatives of working for Arum are much greater than the positive of a big money fight with Chavez (he should ask Tim Bradley and Rigondeaux about this).

Ward makes good money. He will never make Mayweather money but Goosen has handled his career about as well as any promoter can. He has several potential big-money fights at 175 and that is what he should be focused on instead of trying to get a fight with Chavez Jr.

What.... he got Ward into the super 6 as a contender....if it wasn't for the super 6, Ward wouldn't be #2 P4P today.
Goosen was also able to keep Ward stateside the entire time and got the finale in Atlantic City when it could've done better overseas.
Goosen is a guy that did everything for Ward to get him where he is today

Ward has always struck me as somebody who always wants everything 100% his way and is completely unwilling to compromise. That's fine if you've already made it to being a big PPV star like floyd but Ward seems to think he is there too and he simply isn't (in the publics eyes) he should be making hay while in his prime at the moment nobody at 168 has a chance against him and there are good matchups to be made against guys that would bring in pretty big money and attention ... froch rematch in UK, Stieglitz, easy fight v chavez, and there is a lot going on at light heavy too and GGG carving a name for himself at 160 and a future potential super fight there. Instead he is assing around and letting people forget about him. He will regret it in years to come, Goosen did good things for him.
