A little unclear on everything here. All I know is he's suing Goosen to get out of a contract with him that's until 2015 and this is the third time he's doing it...or second.
He's trying to use a California law that said you can't have a contract more than 7 years and that's what DLH used to get away from Top Rank... only difference being in Andre's case is his was with extensions that he willingly signed with his team and Oscar's with TR was 7 years+ at signing. California's seven-year rule, also known as Labor Code Section 2855.
Ward wants to come back in 3-4 months and so did Goosen....but of course these legal troubles will put a hold on that if it isn't resolved fast enough. Or.... I don't know... they do a fight anyway while a lawsuit is pending (don't know enough about law to know if this is possible)
Anybody else want to shed light on this/discuss?
I know why he's doing it... just shaking my head at him doing it. Doesn't sound like he was tricked or anything when he was first brought on and Goosen took care of him and got him fights.
