Fonfara 2 me is a B fighter, only beating a very-old, now fighting 8 rounders, Johnson, & 7 done Campillo...Stevenson has no trouble w/him at all...Kovalev will come but I want either 1 of those guys vs Hopkins, who I am certain will NOT take on either 1...

I do wish the Kovalev fite happen soon and i just dont see why? HBO is investing in him and will pressure GYM i mean he may even fite Pascal/Bute after Fonfara but unless he wants to give his soul to Hopkins by jumping to SHOWTIME he will get it on with Kovalev late 2014
This means that Stevenson, Pascal and (still) Bute sell there... This means B-Hop, Kovalev, (possibly) Froch would come to fight ("fite") there... This means Andre Ward would never come there...

It's not Kovalev or the Pascal-Bute winner but it's still a solid voluntary defence.

Stevenson is squeezing the most easy payday's he could have before facing a real challenge. KOvalev will break him.

definetelly not happening on april the 12th as the montreal canadiens have a home game + its the date for the next pacquiao fight.
as for Pascal Bute, both fighters have a rematch clause, so unless its a blowout they will fight each other again later this year

Patience is a virtue and anticipation has built up some of the greatest fights in history. Let things come to fruition naturally and none of us will be disappointed.

What a joke HBO and it's 2 light heavies are. All they have to do is tell Stevenson & Kovalev if they want HBO to pay, they have to fight each other or they aren't going to keep paying for them to fight bums. No disrespect to Fonfara but he is C level fighter who will probably get KO'd and then they will try to fool us even more that Stevensen is superman. They will probably allow Kovalev to fight a bum so he gets another KO and lead us to believe they will fight each other next while making these 2 guys into pretend monsters. It's very easy, if HBO was for real and wanted to give us the best fights, they could make this fight happen. They have the power because they have the $ but since they are not dealing with GBP and don't have many choices, they are allowing this bs to happen. If they don't make Stevenson/Kovalev next and let them fight bums in their next fighs, they are a disgrace. I have no problem them fighting whoever they want but not HBO buying that crap and trying to sell it off to us as a good fight.

But it's not ok for Ward to fight there according to some fans. Only Stevenson is allowed to make title defenses at home free of criticism.
