people wanna see some decent **** not bull**** like Klitschko vs bum Charr Klitschko vs light heavyweight Adamek Klitschko vs light heavyweight Mormek Klitschko vs can Pianeta Klitschko vs can Wach etc.
same **** Stevenson, Kovalev and others
they are champions so have to brawl with tha best = each other
i wanna see Stevenson fighting Kovalev or the winner Pascal/Bute matchup... not Fonfara
He's just defended the belt vs №1 mandatory contender Bellew so can easily fight either Kovalev or Bute/Pascal without any problems
Rankings in Fonfara's case matter cuz hes not backed by a major promoter.

Alvarez only has 13 fites and against solid opposition his next fite is against Oosthhuizen in Jan so i dont think he'll make it, but his resume already looks better than Cleverly's but then again thats anybody. German fiters seldom travel abroad so scratch Jurgen out.
Stevenson aint a duck he is the Lineal champion and will beat kovalev.
Kovalev would be a bigger payday than Fonfara and brings a belt. If Stevensons team was that sure, they'd go for it now. I understand the business decision - Stevenson doesn't have long at the top due to his age and they don't wanna take a big risk with him til they've made some decent $s.
Thing is Kovalevs name ain't gonna grow if he can't get the big names in the ring with him. And as you point out - he's unlikely to get anyone ranked in or even near the top ten. It seems like GYM is arguing Kovalev doesn't bring enough to the table, but by effectively shutting him out they're almost ensuring he'll never be worth more than he is now.

But let's pretend that Fonfara would somehow stand a very narrow chance against Adonis (who's 36)... In case Fonfara would be able to duck the pimp's straight left till the later rounds -- which I doubt...
(As about Fonfara vs Kovalev: the Polish fighter would be as dead as a dead duck)...

Stevenson will make huge coing off Bute/Pascal bout... much more than he'd fight Fanfara
imo Adonis will smash Bute/Pascal winner. so i just can't get it why they're focusing on Fonfara bout
understand Kovale's situation.. he's very dangerous option to Stevenson also aint so much entertaining in Canada
but Bute/Pascal just a PERFECT matchup for Adonis... no risk losing nearly plus huge profit in the pocket

To sum up: Adonis "can easily fight" Kovalev and get KOd easily... Adonis "can easily fight" Pascal and even dispatch him into the process... But Adonis "can't easily fight" Bute, because Bute won't fight him -- he would rather prefer going back south (perhaps the only fight Bute would take at 175 is against grandpa B-Hop)...

In case (just in case) Bute beats Pascal, I think that GYM Promotions will easily "feed" poor Pascal to his stable mate Adonis Stebenson... But if Pascal wins we will have a beautiful "fix" -- on huge money, in Quebec or Montreal...

I do wish the Kovalev fite happen soon and i just dont see why? HBO is investing in him and will pressure GYM i mean he may even fite Pascal/Bute after Fonfara but unless he wants to give his soul to Hopkins by jumping to SHOWTIME he will get it on with Kovalev late 2014
