    Keep up.
So it's my fault you jumbled all of that up..I responded as it read and was written but ok. Punctuation helps separate what you are saying and learn how to properly address your points because clearly anyone reading that first quote will come to the same exact conclusion I did and by the way I haven't insulted you so slow the fk down with that nonsense and talk like an adult.

Go first and then I'll list FLOYD's excuses. Whoever comes up with more verifiable excuses has to leave this forum. Deal?

Showtime is just protecting their investment, who is Floyd. They know Manny is and should be the biggest fight out there at the moment. It seems they cannot force him to fight. With Floyd set up to fight the stable of fighters 140-147 from GBP, IMO all are pointless and not needed.

I wonder if this stance is from Espinoza himself or from the heads of CBS/Showtime. Can't make the fight b/c of who the promoter is? If this excuse is Espinoza himself, he should be fired for catering to the diva-ish behavior.

Trying to run them out of business by making 4 fights with them in 2 years...yeah that seems like trying to run someone out of busieness the fact remains...I don't care for the excuse making...the handlers are not the talent..the handlers should not dictate what the talent does..ever!! Period. This is the equivalent to an agent telling a movie star to pass up their biggest payday (both sides) because he doesn't like the executive at the movie studio. This bullllshhhh does not fly anywhere else outside of boxing.
It goes back further than that. When Arum was railing against HBO helping out GBP because they wanted to keep Oscar happy. A promoter is suppose to work for a fighter, but that is not how it works with Arum and Manny.

A movie star might pass up his biggest pay day for a number of reasons like that, they might not like the script or the whole vision relating to the project. It happens if they consider themselves artists~ so that is a poor example. Any entertainment business is like that really

            • Remove Arum and Schaeffer from the mix..negotiate with HBO/Showtime and the fight gets made..everyone is happy.

                I don't even read these people's post. It's useless.
Floyd's ducking rep makes me happy actually.
Hope it stays that way till he retires. Can't wait.

You said the moviestar..but not the agent and that's the point..both stars here want this payday and this fight..it's the agents that don't want it unless it's on their terms. You give Arum wayyyy too much credit and power over HBO. Arum clearly works for Manny because they put a monetary value on a set of opponents and let him pick...they don't say you are fighting this guy and making that much money for it whether you want to or not.

                  • pacquiao wont even beat canelo, what does floyd have to fear from him. its funny every guy floyd is ''ducking'' is a top rank fighter. why cant pacquiao break away from arum for ONE fight, why is he so attached to that old thief, its a pimp- ********** situation. marquez turned him down, the bradley rematch nobody in the world but pact@rds care about, and he wont fight ruslan because they are friends, so who is left to fight ??? mayweather can fight amir khan and make $30 million easy. pacquiao doesnt have that power, hes in debt and needs money, just dump arum, whats the big deal. just take the beating and pay off the IRS.

when floyd fought oscar in 2007 he agreed to EVERY demand oscar had because he was hungry to get the PPV throne. manny needs to know he is the B side here, he is not on floyds level as far as skills or PPV number. just dump arum and take the beating, so we all can move on.

And those are the ttype numbers they're looking at doing again with Khan, or whoever else. It would make all the sense in the world to "force Floyd into the fight." With Floyd-Manny being the only fight that makes money for them with Floyd's big guarantee. It makes absolutely ZERO sense for the to help Floyd "duck" Pac. Ya'll some dumbasses for even trying to imply that.
It's because Floyd doesn't want the fight. It's THAT simple. Showtime has already signed Floyd to a contract and they are protecting their investment. They cannot force a boxer to fight someone. It has to be mutual. You have to be a real idiot to not understand simple business and how they're trying to sell a Khan fight to the public.
