I hope your right and pac calls his bluff by signing with Golden Boy but I do not see Arum letting Pac go that easily.Comment

Sure hun, run along now....
Good post and a fact, the biggest loser in all this is Pacquiao himself because he's the one that's broke and still under contract to Arum. And I'm calling it here first, Manny will resign with Bob and continue his downward slide.Floyd making 80-100 million without Bob and there lies the problem.
He just doesn't need the Pacquiao fight.
Floyd is guaranteed another 120 plus million for four more fights with SHO.
Reguardless of who he fights.
And thats without PPV $$$$ he will make along with those guarantees.
So to Floyd the money isn't a factor.
He is making tons of it already.
Yes Bob is rich but so is Floyd.
They really don't need eachother and thats why neither will be losing sleep over the Pacquiao fight any time soon.
Now as for Pacquiao.........he is the one missing out on his biggest pay day.
Something he could use right about now with all the tax problems he has.
I feel sorry for him. Why he renewed his contract with Bob Arum i will never understand.
Nice guys do finish last.Comment

So explain to me how it helps Showtime to side with Floyd in his attempts to "prevent the fight." They took a loss in the Guerrero fight. And those are the ttype numbers they're looking at doing again with Khan, or whoever else. It would make all the sense in the world to "force Floyd into the fight." With Floyd-Manny being the only fight that makes money for them with Floyd's big guarantee. It makes absolutely ZERO sense for the to help Floyd "duck" Pac. Ya'll some dumbasses for even trying to imply that.Comment

If a guy owed you money from past dealings, tried to destroy your name, helped someone sue you, made tons of money off your name by attaching his fighters to you, lied to the public and media about you, and a list of other things...........$40 million with a 50/50 split now you seem to have gotten your facts mixed up it was $40 million flat..the real money to be made is in the ppv receipts my friend..that's always been the issue. The man is on record saying "I will take the tests" so the testing has not been an issue since two weeks into the first outcry for this fight nearly 4 years ago.
Would you be quick to do business with that guy? Honest answer pleaseComment

There you go...any questions?
Trying to run them out of business by making 4 fights with them in 2 years...yeah that seems like trying to run someone out of busieness the fact remains...I don't care for the excuse making...the handlers are not the talent..the handlers should not dictate what the talent does..ever!! Period. This is the equivalent to an agent telling a movie star to pass up their biggest payday (both sides) because he doesn't like the executive at the movie studio. This bullllshhhh does not fly anywhere else outside of boxing.I read it all first hand, there is a two way street there but Arum did plenty to make that bed, when GBP was starting out and Arum was trying to run them out of business why should GBP be friendly when the shoe is on the other foot, they should be putting their foot on his throat as the pull up on his arm. That is what this is all about, GBP is trying to go for the kill and Floyd is fine with it because he has his own separate beefs with Arum
They can not coexist in the same place now, the only way they could come to an accord was if their became a third entity that was almost as big or one becomes much weaker and says uncle, as it is now they are Coke and Pepsi and both can do just fine but you will never see both in the same establishment because they don't play that way.Comment

Ya'll read some quote that said Arum owes money to Floyd and have run that into the ground..If Arum owed Floyd money then why did Floyd still give up a percentage of his earnings to top rank for his fight with Oscar? The rest of which he used to buy himself all the way out of his contract with Top Rank. Considering Floyd has been to court how many times over the past few years..if he was owed money how come a judge hasn't said "He owes him money". Just because someone says something does not make it true..we can only go by what is documented and there is zero documentation that shows Arum owes Floyd a single dime. Yet there is documentation of Floyd's exit from top rank. I don't know one person on earth who could be owed millions of dollars all these years and wouldn't have gone to court for it.If a guy owed you money from past dealings, tried to destroy your name, helped someone sue you, made tons of money off your name by attaching his fighters to you, lied to the public and media about you, and a list of other things...........

Fool. Those were the ways pacs bluff has been called. He asked for 5050 split and got it - he walked. Asked for 1 mil per lb over 47 - he walked. Said he would take the test - he walked. Was offered 40 mil flat, more than he's ever made and will never make with out Floyd - refused. There you go...any questions?
