That's for the biggest money of all time. You don't get to be a top promoter for that long if you take ridiculous deals like that
But, the problem is. If Manny genuinely wants the fight. There's a solid chance that he doesn't re-sign with Arum at the end of next year. Or at the least, stay a free agent long enough to be able to make a Floyd fight. Much like Cotto did. Then Arum gets nothing from Floyd-Manny.

Unless he resigns earlier, needing big advances or whatever.

Also if you think someone owes you money that is what matters. Whether there is legal standing in the matter to say that money is owed is another matter but if you feel someone owes you that is what is going to matter to you and you aren't going to trust the person in a business sense.

Pacquiao needs to worry about his fight with the IRS because form the looks of it he'll either be fighting till he's 50 on FNF or FOXSPORTS BOXEO or doing sideshow gigs till he's dead. That or he's hitting the slammer. Pacquiao smoke and mirror act is up.

So why wasn't this a dealbreaker till now? Pac, you're next, take the test, here's 40m flat etc

Excellent point. One that Arum is likely banking on. But in that case. Wouldn't it make sense to avoid Floyd for awhile? If Manny loses convincingly to Floyd, his drawing powr signficantly drops. Lower than it is already. Arum can keep Manny winning and upright for at least another year. He can do two fights with Bradley in 2014. By 2015, Provodnikov will likely have built even more steam. And I don't think the book is closed on JMM-Pac. So in terms of milking Manny for everything he's worth. Making a Floyd fight really doesn't make sense. Because Manny has a rabid fanbase that's gonna blame Floyd regardless for the fight not happening. So it won't be difficult at all to string those folks along.

because things change just like how Pacquiao was scared of needles, superstitious, needles make him weak, he does intense training so he can' train for 2-3 days after he has blood drawn, a staidum being built then all of a sudden he wants drug testing. Ridiculous excuses like that.

It was worth more to him back then and Manny was in better position, now Floyd holds all the cards.

Floyd felt he was worth more before and the shot caller. Floyd is going to bank regardless he has his contract, even if he is only paid that with no upside he will be doing just fine

Now he is looking to totally stick the knife in deep.

Plus that was always a problem, Arum played his hand and Floyd played his and Floyd won so Arum has to be the one on the outside looking in.

If Floyd was the one that fell off and the shoe was on the other foot do you think Arum would make Floyd crawl to him and take whatever crumbs he offered?
