Excellent point. One that Arum is likely banking on. But in that case. Wouldn't it make sense to avoid Floyd for awhile? If Manny loses convincingly to Floyd, his drawing powr signficantly drops. Lower than it is already. Arum can keep Manny winning and upright for at least another year. He can do two fights with Bradley in 2014. By 2015, Provodnikov will likely have built even more steam. And I don't think the book is closed on JMM-Pac. So in terms of milking Manny for everything he's worth. Making a Floyd fight really doesn't make sense. Because Manny has a rabid fanbase that's gonna blame Floyd regardless for the fight not happening. So it won't be difficult at all to string those folks along.

Manny will keep fighting anyone it doesnt matter. GUys with losses. He's done it time and time again and his fanbase or HBO doesn't mind. Because at the end of the day if he wins they still promote Pacquiuao as the guy who can beat Mayweather. Problem is he won't keep winning. Pacquiao is the new MIke Tyson the writing is on the wall. Better cough up that 50 million you owe to Uncle Sam Pacquiao or you're ending up as another loser story!

Dude, go back and watch the infamous interview Floyd did with Brian Kenny. Floyd said then he didn't wanna work with Arum. And that was before he fought JMM. No of course, Floyd was having money troubles of his own back then. And was more apt to do what he had to do to make those troubles go away. Plus, he and Manny were pretty much equals in terms of star power and status in the sport. Times have drastically changed. Now whether you and those who think like you wanna accept it or not.

He has Maidana, Khan (as sorry as the fight is, Khan has a nice UK fan base and a mouth that would attract the casual fan), Danny Garcia, Matthysse, Thurman, Broner (if he wanted it), he has a stable of fighters that could make him money and a nice 1.2 million PPV, can Pac say that? What did Pac do against Rios? 450K PPV and very little interest with the fight. There will be no 5th fight with Juan, and Bradley is looking to fight someone other than Pac and Bradley's contract is up after his next fight. The question is, who really needs who? Good point that Floyd can make money fighting anybody. Floyd has a guaranteed contract. He doesn't need Pac to make money. Its actually Showtime that needs Pac to make money. With the amount of guaranteed money they're paying Floyd. Floyd's PPVs probably need to do at least 1.5m, likely a lil more, for Showtime to turn a profit. There's currently no one on the landscape that guarantees those type numbers but Pac. So it makes absolutelyy no sense for Showtime to assist Floyd in "ducking" Manny. And anyone that thinks Showtime is willing to lose money for the sole purpose of "protecting" Floyd or staying on his good side is outta their ****in' mind. That's why you're absolutely correct half of these ****** mu****as on here are so caught up in their own logic. Its completely clouding their judgement and overruling rational.
