Why does Maidana deserve a fight against Floyd over Khan?

Am just bored watching Mayweather against the typical "Lets pressure him" style. It's the same old tactic with everyone trying to pressure him.

I'd much rather prefer the Khan fight. If I wanted to watch Floyd vs Maidana I'd put the Guerrero and Canelo fights on repeat rather then pay for it.

It's time to take it off repeat and view something different.

Khan's last 3 fights. Stopped by Danny Garcia, win over no name lightweight Molina, struggles to beat a career Lightweight who's way past his prime and at WW in Diaz.

Maidana's last 3 fights. Stopped Karass, who would go on to beat Aydin and Berto. Stopped Lopez, who the last time he was at WW had beaten Victor Ortiz. Beat up Broner, who got a decent win there over Paulie, and was a heavily favored to beat up Maidana.

Khan hasn't done jack since Judah or Peterson.
        Pretty ironic post.

Because he's ranked at WW, a Titlest at WW, and not looked underwhelming in his last 4 fights.

floyd khan would have been much better in 2011,,,,

Maidana is on a hot streak right now, khan looks like damaged goods since the garcia fight

Khan lost against Danny Garcia and struggled against Julio Diaz. He hasn't looked impressive in a fight in quite a while. Also, khan isn't an intelligent fighter imo. He should've fought Alexander at WW and I wouldn't have complained at all. Khan shouldn't be rewarded for not taking that fight.

Maidana, on the other hand, stopped both Soto Karass and Lopez. Then he beat Broner in impressive fashion. Yes, Maidana lost to Khan but he has improved since then under Garcia's tutelage. It seems that khan has regressed over his last few fights.

I know your as good as your last fight but khans last fight would be 9 months come may. In the 5 months so far he's had mini camps, consistently working on his technique and also his strength and conditioning. Are you really telling me he won't be a much improved fighter at a weight he would be comfortably making? If you want to watch another Plodder with slow footwork, no head movement, no defence and power then just watch the guerrero, canelo, baldomir fights. It's time floyd fought someone with advantages over him, speed, power, footwork speed, height and reach. This is not an easy fight, Hunter 5 months ago said Khan would be in a rude awakening if he doesn't give serious time to learn his craft. Khan listened did what Hunter said and I guess its paying of because Hunter is now saying Khan is showing dramatic improvements and the fight now would be interesting. He was honest back then so there is no need for him not to be now especially after khans put the work in. Alot will be suprised come may 3rd, if I was floyd I would take the low risk high reward fight in Maidana and avoid Khan.

That he's talking about Khan beating lightweights and names a two lightweights Maidana has beaten to enhance his rankings in the WW division?

The irony was pretty clear. Especially as Julio Diaz was coming off a really good performance against someone who is now a titlist - beating the guy Maidana lost every round to.

                      Ah ok.

Khans fights wern't impressive as opposed to Maidanas though.
