For one, Khan ain't the same if you can't see that then there isn't any convincing you. Second, Maidana is coming off of a winning streak, where as Khan has been looking shitty and would more than likely get stopped by Maidana if they rematch now. I don't like either fights but it's obvious who's more deserving.
Most posters on NSB knew what Broner was - an overhyped lightweight. Especially after his performance vs Malignaggi. Broner is a good fighter, but he's flatfooted and he's most certainly not a WW. It's easier to throw 1000 punches vs a stationary target that Broner is. Khan also throws between 700-900 punches in most of his 12 round fights - it doesn't really mean anything when it comes to landing on a much more elusive target in a Floyd Mayweather.
Lets be honest, "Most posters on NSB knew what Broner was - an overhyped lightweight" is pure BS and you know it. Some of us saw him as unproven hype but it wasnt most of us. Lots of avatars changed in shame after that fight.
99 out of 100 boxing experts had Broner winning, some by a bigger margin others by less, but everyone thought he had this (I thought Broner was hype but I had him winning this one) , and many that are now hiding under a rock thought he was the future king of boxing in spite of the SD against Paulie and a couple more fights that he could heave lost had it not been for the known boxing politics.
He is most def. a WW, the exact same hight as Maidana, 5.7, made the weight too so that's that. You could make a case for a 5.4 guy like Rees being to small, but not for Broner. Broner was huge for the lighter weight in which he felt comfortable, bullying smaller guys.
About the number of punches, its both the number and power that goes along with them.
If there's one thing you can say for Broner is that he took a beating that would have left most other boxers sleeping on the canvas.

It's most certainly not bs.
We can easily find some of the threads post the PM fight.
He's a fantastic lightweight. He really is, but he's not a WW.
