I believe it will be made, Garcia camp sent them a offer before the burgos fight got made but 50 cent wanted too much money essitienaitlly priced themself out and so garcia moved on. The balls in 50 cent court he can post all the instragram pics he wants but till he makes a counter offer then he just gmmicking himself and gamboa.

It's still early. All that Twitter and Instagram bullshit is just noise. I would be willing to bet these guys will come to an agreement, and this fight will get made in 2014.

if ponce de leon is able to fight on hbo,wouldn't be surprised if they picked him,he's popular and an ex champ,of course there are others i'd rather see Garcia face,like uchiyama,mendez,fortuna and of course gamboa,out of all of these i'd rather see him against gamboa followed by mendez

I think Arum will give his blessing, for all the reasons I gave before, but especially because they're going to see Gamboa as a relatively easy mark at this stage.

There's a good chance that it will happen and yuri may be a lil ripe , like u said. But I believe arums been a little weary or hesitating for some reason. They been calling each other out for a while now .Maybe bob still has a fresh memory of another Cuban spoiling his money plans. Lol

Oh yeah I am pretty sure this fight gets made in 2014 both sides see each other as a easy target for whatever reason and you can see the animosity is building already.

I don't know if Gamboa's camp sees Garcia as an easy mark, but I think Mikey's camp sees Yuri that way. But, yeah, I think the animosity is building, and that's one of the reasons why I think the fight will happen.

Gamboa looked lackluster in his last two fights, but you have to understand what was going on. Yuri had been inactive for fifteen months when he moved up to 130. Another six months elapsed when Gamboa showed up to fight at 135. Both these fights were against guys that Yuri wasn't very respectful of. To top it off, Gamboa had his father training him.

With Yuri dropping back down to 130, against an opponent to get worked up for, and with a real trainer in his corner, things might not be so easy for dear old Mikey.
