Well he also called out GGG if you wanna go by that.

Whether he looked average or not how many guys do you know get up from two HARD KDs and come back to make their opponent quit? Not just any opponent. An opponent as tough as nail such as Angulo. That was some Chico type **** mah dude.

I was also impressed by the amount of lefts Angulo took but he ****ed it all away by quitting.

He shouldn't be having trouble with a crappy fighter like Angulo, he looked horrible in his fight before that, he was getting hurt by a small welterweight journeyman.

lara does have big nuts. in that regard he's an extremely admirable fighter. he fought like a champion with nasty swelling against williams, and people didn't give him the credit he deserved for it. in their defense, they were too busy screaming about the robbery.

lara got hit a lot against angulo. freddie hernandez even touched him up a bit. angulo is slow, has a tendency to punch himself out and need a break, and is relatively crude and easy to hit. he's also never looked the same since his layoff. i'd even go so far as to say he's not much better than a punching bag against the world class. they fought in a in a slow ring, but lara had a lot of problems against angulo. again, we should credit lara for being a warrior and winning via knockout, but we have to recognize that the angulo fight showed some flaws.

Angulo is a slow punching fighter like Margarita is and he was tagging Lara and dropped him twice. If your having trouble with Angulo, you surely can be beaten. No disrespect to Angulo but people are talking like Lara is an unstoppable monster here.

I'm not arguing the flaws. Like I said, no one is unbeatable.

But I'm not sure he got touched up vs Hernandez. Like someone said, "Lara could've gone to a photoshoot after that fight."

Vs Angulo not only did he suffer two nasty KDs but he took some mean body punishment as well. He still came back strong and was able to stop his opponent. That right there was impressive. He showed some cojones and made it thru adversity. That's the difference between someone like Lara and someone like Broner.

Right now I think Lara is #2 in the weight class (after Mayweather) and has an easy argument for being one of the top 15 boxers in the world, if not one of the top 10.

Andrade beats him if they ever fight. I think it would be a good fight but the reach, speed and height would be a big problem.

Any fighter has vulnerabilities no? It's wether you can take advantage of them or not. Angulo tried to but he fell short cause he was eating lefts all night and ended up quitting.

To be fair, his face pretty much caved in on him.

Well it has everything to do with Laras punches, it didn't happen by itself
