both fighters looked awful, and lara wasn't doing a ton to separate himself, even if he should have won the fight.

when somebody says that a fighter is "unbeatable at 154," and he performs like that against vanes martyrosian, you bring the fight up as evidence contrary to the claim. vanes is an absolute nobody. he's done nothing, and he will do nothing. he went to war with saul roman. an unbeatable fighter, especially one considered by some to be a great boxer, toys with vanes. could that fight have lacked any more luster? it takes two to make a fight like that.

i can't see how anybody could think lara is unbeatable. he gets extra credit for being a fighter without a huge billing. it's painfully obvious what's going on here.

Doesn't excuse the fact that he wasn't suppose to struggle with Angulo, you bring all of this like I'm oblivious to it

But people seem to think that he is the man at 154 lbs.

he has the best resume and the "top" guys like Floyd, canelo, and cotto won't fight him so yes he is.

I have never seen him lose. you mean the Molina fight? Molina was hitting gloves all fight while getting hit cleanly. Williams fight? lol! so he hasn't really lost. then again no one is unbeatable in boxing cept Floyd mayweather and that's why he doesn't even have to fight the best because its just pointless hes going to win anyway so fu-kk it.

He's far from unbeatable, but I also feel that he can beat any fighter at 154 on any given night. If that makes any sense.

Canelo would also be one of his biggest threats as well, still doesn't change the fact that he struggled with a slow Angulo

certainly not unbeatable but I'd favor him over anybody at the weight
