Canelo needs to fight lara

I'd like to see that fight.....I still feel Canelo is capable of winning but he needs to pressure Lara, not fight him from a distance.

Yeah me to. If he tries to box Lara he will get schooled but pressuring him might work

Fighting Floyd should give him that much needed experience to realize how he should NOT be fighting those type of fighters ..... but that is only part of the equation.

Except asking Canelo to be this come forward go get you guy is like asking Kirkland to stand back and box, it is not what they do~

Canelo is a boxer that is what he always does and what success he has had has come through that route. He tried his best way, if he tried to be something he isn't he would probably have lost even worse he might have had a glimpse of success here and there if it was unexpected but it would have ended very badly.



Lara is a boxer also and he has holes in his game also, just like Canelo so that would be an interesting contest~

Canelo would lose to Lara, I don't think Alvarez can handle movement that well.

ok................that's almost impossible but I guess miracles can happen. canelo doesn't have the skills to compete with lara. he barely beat trout. lara can do everything much better than trout. speed, movement, power. canelo sucks when he has to come forward and he would walk into straight lefts over and over. angulo is one of the best pressure fighters in boxing and he was neutralized cept for the 2 knockdowns. canelo doesn't have that attitude or power so yea not happening. the duck will continue. the crowning of another fraud champ will happen. lara will eventually lose and canelo fans will say "see he was a bum all along. I knew it."

styles make fights, lara made a good fight to trout, but he went to hell with slower fighters like angulo, vanes and molina, so just to let you know canelo is no trout... and if you criticize canelo for going after money fights , just look at what lara is doing, instead of pushing for a fight with a champion like molina which should be considered a rematch cuz we all know he lost that fight, he is looking for the money fight with canelo... and you guys are speaking like lara is canelos mandatory, canelo is doing the same as lara, he has no mandatory and he is looking for the most lucrative fight, which lara is not , at this point from gbp available fighters angulo is the most lucrative fight, and molina has a real title , now you tell me why is canelo obligated to fight lara in his first PPV?? he is 23 and just fought the 2 top ranked on his divison back to back, he is coming of a loss and he is obligated to do a fight with a fighter that casuals dont know, not a friendly style, not a title... you as a promoter wont make a dollar.... btw i will like to see the fight, but canelo not obligated to do it right now...

if the fight happens, lara would UD him and i think there would be decent odds on a lara UD which i would bet on.

Styles make fights yet you're here bringing up other Lara fights and saying Canelo is no Trout. You're right, Canelo is no Trout and that's why he couldn't even beat him.

Lara has expressed his desire to rematch Molina plenty of times. You see, what you and a lot of these haters don't realize is that these Cuban fighters are not protected. So they're not picky about who they fight. They don't choose their opponents so they fight whoever.
