Yup. They call anyone not named Mayweather, "C class fighter, D class fighter". Then, when people don't give Floyd proper credit for his victory, they cry about it.

What credit really needs to be given for beating c and d class fighters?

Disrupt his game plan and make him fight a fight hes uncomfortable. Cotto did this and it was the only fight i actually enjoyed watching Floyd fight in in a looooong time. Cotto on the other hand dont throw as many puches as Maidana!
I think it will be a good fight to watch and i dont think Floyd will just breeze through Maidana!
problem is that Floyd , unlike Broner, would move and use his superior timing and speed to counter Maidana's jab with his right.

Maidana's output would be considerably lower, as is the case for most , if not all, Floyd's opponents.

Maidana is simply too slow of hand and foot, too basic.

It'd be nothing like the Cotto fight, Cotto is a boxer first and foremost, it'd be more like Guerrero, with the only difference that Maidana, although more powerful, is much slower and would get pot shotted , weared out, and eventually walked down.

It is not to discredit Maidana, not at all, but I can't see Maidana winning, even against the worst version of Floyd we've seen so far.

As for Khan , he simply doesn't deserve a Mayweather fight, and apart from speed he bring nothing to the table.

I have a friend who is a big Floyd fan and so anytime I bring up a possible opponent for him, they scoff at just about anyone, calling him a bum or whatever. And it's not like I'm bringing up these names implying any of these dudes would beat him, but that is how he takes it...all im trying to do is find a fight that would be good for most fans and it's impossible because he ****s on literally every possible fight. I just end the convo by saying Let's just cancel MAy 3rd then ffs!!

This is all I'm saying... It's ****ing annoying. At no point have I ever said Maidana would beat Mayweather. I don't actually think he would.

But what I do think, is that Maidana isn't going to get discouraged. Maidana isn't going to start the fight by trying to counter Floyd like Canelo and Guerrero did. Maidana is just going to come after you, throw his awkward shots from awkward positions and make you work every second of the fight. Floyd hasn't fought a guy like that in a long time.

I couldn't disagree with this more. Maidana is nothing like Guerrero, and I wuldn't even say Maidana is slower then Guerrero, and don't forget this.

Guerrero spent the first 6+ rds trying to counter Floyd, in maybe the most mind boggling strategy I have ever seen. Maidana and his trainer arent that ******.

So what does that have to do with Chino's chances against Floyd?
