Why Is Maidana So Disrespected By Floyd Fans

Why? Cause he doesn't dance around and pot shot? Ive always said this, and will continue to say that Maidana is one of the most underrated fighters in the sport of boxing. Especially now under Garcia. Awkward unorthodox fighters seemingly get no credit on here. Martinez even now doesn't get full credit from a lot of people.

He outskilled Broner at almost every point in his last fight. OUTSKILLED.

Maidana is far more skilled then Broner. Broner has speed and reflexes. Those don't equal skill, and the same goes for Khan. Khan has done jack **** to earn a Mayweather fight, and even less at WW.

Khan has literally no interesting angles on Mayweather. Fighting him will be an ABC fight for Floyd. Speed or not. Speed is nothing against a guy like Floyd without wisdom to guide it. To trouble Floyd, you need an iron chin, ring cutting ability, heart of a lion, and a sledgehammer punch. Walk through his counters to land. Decimate the body, go for the head less but make it count when you do. Khan can't walk through Floyd, at all. Maidana can, for a while at least. He will make Floyd hustle on his feet , but at some point Money may attempt to beat him in the pocket, and THAT is what I want to see. As elusive as Floyd is standing still, I don't think he can do that versus Maidana. That overhand right that chops down, thudding jab, or flying hook has a strong possibility of landing if Floyd stands still

Go read my posts in Khan threads I'm far from a fan, go read my posts in the Broner-Maidana threads I supported Maidana. So you're wrong on both fronts. Guys with much faster feet and hands can't catch Mayweather so Maidana has zero chance ,it's as simple as that, Maidana would never get close enough to land anything. Khan P4P has the fastest hands in the sport and puts punches in bunches which what a fighter needs to catch Mayweather. It's just a better style match-up.
