Floyd would make Maidana miss with everything, then make him pay. That's what he has done in every fight of his career and will continue to do until he retires.

I can see why youd think that! Thats what he normally does. But what if Maidana fights Floyd...like he did Broner. Floyd usually does what you say he would. BUT...he has also NOT fought a fighter that throws a ton of punches! Wether he misses or not...he will land some. Floyd has a really good defense. If yoou keep him on it...(by throwing a lot of punches) he wont be able to throw.
Not saying Maidana will win or lose. But win or lose...he will beat Floyds ass in that ring if he fights like he did against Broner.

Yes, I agree that Maidana would give 100% in trying to close down the ring and let as many punches go as possible, that would be a good gameplan for Marcos to implement.

The only factor which needs addressing is that just because Maidana did what he did to Broner, doesn't mean that he can do the same to Floyd. Look at Broner's previous 4/5 fights, the evidence of his lack of defense is their to be seen. Broner is a very static fighter, shoulder roll or no shoulder roll, if your feet are planted to the ground and you have a guy like Maidana throwing 80 punches per round at you, you will get stung and he did.

I hope that this fight is made for May 2014, it would be good for the fans and I'm sure it will sell well on PPV.

i do hate to sound like im comparing Floyd and Broner....i really am not though. Im just saying that if he does fight with that high output and rough tactic style...he has a fair good chance in doing what most of Floyd opponents have not. Disrupt his game plan and make him fight a fight hes uncomfortable. Cotto did this and it was the only fight i actually enjoyed watching Floyd fight in in a looooong time. Cotto on the other hand dont throw as many puches as Maidana!
I think it will be a good fight to watch and i dont think Floyd will just breeze through Maidana!

Why? Cause he doesn't dance around and pot shot? Ive always said this, and will continue to say that Maidana is one of the most underrated fighters in the sport of boxing. Especially now under Garcia. Awkward unorthodox fighters seemingly get no credit on here. Martinez even now doesn't get full credit from a lot of people.

He outskilled Broner at almost every point in his last fight. OUTSKILLED.
