Brandon Rios was tailor made for Pacquiao, slow, flat footed, bad defense, bad boxing skill...and Pac fans don't take it as a diss, it's simply a statement of just how GOOD Pacquiao is.

He already beat his big brother in Antonio Margarito, who was actually quicker than Brandon Rios to be honest.

NO it did not. It seems that the Pac ******s went into hiding after Marquez obliterated Pacquiao's A$$. The shame was too much for them to handle for the past year and that is why they went quiet. All they needed was a glimmer of hope and that is what the Rios win did for Pac; it gave his worshippers a glimmer of hope.

It is why I always say impressive wins no matter who they are against are always worth it. If you can't beat someone impressive decently then the next best thing is to look impressive against almost anyone, period.

How many people are really that deep into boxing, most people can't see much below the surface at all and most people don't even want to because that involves a ton of effort and time to learn about the various aspects of the sport that go into knowing why stuff happens. Most people just want to be entertained and watching a guy rough up a guy with a fairly glossy record/history get people hyped.

To people deep in the sport the idea is totally preposterous, but on the surface it does look just fine and dandy.

Apparently Pacquiao went from needing to retire to being the biggest threat since Osama Bin Laden. But I called this when the Rios fight was signed, Pacquiao would beat Rios impressively, actually by KO, and his fans would claim he's god again. Pacquiao looked a little worse than I imagined and didn't do to Rios what I thought he'd do but still was enough to get the c-ckroaches out of their nest and posting with confidence again.
