Did the Brandon Rios win really bring this much hype back to Pac?

Tired of him, then beat him. Should be easy, right?
If you really want my opinion on that, then all I can say is, they need to work out something between their promotions or Pac just needs to leave Arum. I believe the top guy shouldn't chase a fighter. If the challenger wants to fight the top guy, then HE needs to chase. And by chase, I don't mean say you want the fight but extend his TR contract. But that's a whole different topic.

My point of this thread is Pac lost to Bradley (even though it was a robbery) and got knocked out my Marquez. Defeating Brandon Rios doesn't outshine those 2 facts. If Pac wants to fight the top guy, then I guess Rios is a good first step. But judging from the threads I see on this board, that seemed to be the only step required to get the top guy. I mean, be honest. That's a little too easy don't you think?

Obviously it did, despite the poor PPV numbers...Guys like me pick on Pac quite a bit, but he is still a big hero where it counts. It absolutely brought some confidence back for not only him, but people who look up to him as well.

          It's just boxing.
Brandon was knocking PAC and around the ring pretty hard in the first couple rounds and PAC is still wide open for the right

I guess the quality of his opponents depends on who you're asking and what they're willing to accept and not accept. For instance, if I asked you what you thought about his Mosley win, you would probably say Mosley was past his prime or whatever. But if I ask someone else, they might say, "Shane was the top welterweight at the time and he was the guy to beat." I can accept both opinions. He was past his prime, but at the same time, he was the guy to beat at the time also. I doubt you will accept the latter.

And in my opinion, I do believe Mayweather did look masterful in his performance against Ortiz, Guerrero, and Canelo.

When Khan is in the same sentence with Mayweather, Pacquiao being in the same sentence is hardly outrages.

I didn't see any decline in the Marquez fight and I didn't see any decline in the Rios fight. He just got caught by Marquez. Shit happens. Outside of Lara, Pacquiao is still a better opponent for Mayweather than anyone else you can think of.

And instead of acting as if the Bradly robbery is some type of black mark on Pacquaio, it should be taken as what it actually is, one of the best wins for Pacquiao (or anyone else) in recent years.

People starting to pressure Floyd to stop ducking Pacquiao again is due to increased Pac hype? I'm almost positive it's something all boxing fans want, but who knows?

I already addressed all those issues. I've already said Khan doesn't deserve it and the Bradley fight was a robbery.

And I don't care how well you perform from rounds 1-11. If you get careless, then you get knocked out. That's just the beauty of the sport.
