Stevens is not top ten.... Have no idea why the ring still rated him in there. He beat nobody decent mw and his toughest victory over Findlay was hardly worthy of high praise

Probably because some of the middleweights that are probably better than Stevens have fallen off the map a bit in the past 12 months. N'Dam and Pirog have been inactive, Andy Lee has been slow to react to the Chavez defeat, Brian Vera has been lead around the weight merry go round by a bloated Chavez jr and Soliman failed a drugs test. Perhaps Stevens still doesn't deserve to be #10 despite this but then a lot of the other contenders have fought little of note also.

Apparently Sergio is struggling financially and all his fans (financial advisors) wants him to fight Cotto because he deserves a big money fight since he is broke from making millions.

Not 100% sure but it seems like the consensus. The 2nd probability is they dont want Golovkin to KO his ass (I highly doubt this)

The only one I agree with is mora. Would love to see that fight and don't know why they didn't pick him for Monaco. Geared though, didn't look like it would've ever happened, at least while he was wearing the belt. Never heard anything about lee.... Haven't heard much since his loss to junior

I'd love to, but a lot of people are against it. Hbo wont have it... But he did just sign with Lou. Best case scenario Lou can have a 2 for one deal with hbo and golovkin. Fight Sergio early this year and get the other Sergio later this year

Stevens is a bum, boxrec has him at #21. If he was even remotely close to the top 10 when Golovkin fought him it was because they wanted to save face and someone paid a ranking body off. He can ask Kirkland to move up and fight him....that's what he is going to do anyway, that or fight Vera.

Geale wants to fight him, Mora wants to fight him, Lee wants to fight him but he wants nothing to do with them.

So that's 2 passes from Geale. Wants nothing to do with Andy Lee lol. Pretty sure he also passed on Monaco, not that that's any better than the more durable Adama. So turns out the most eligible fighter that wants it is Mora, which is decent (IMO, not the networks), but that's it.
