why doesnt martinez have to fight golovkin?

This guy has to be the most overrated mw in history.
He beat an overweight man child in chavez jr. So now he somehow gets a pass and doesnt have to fight legit mws.

He has been doing nothing but beating on world class grocery baggers for the past 2 years and calling out welter weights and jr middleweights.

Im not sold on golovkin but he is obviously the biggest threat in the division. So why isnt there any outcry for sergio to fight golovkin?

Because Cotto is a money fight, that's understandable.
He has his mando with Rubio after that...then 1 more fight on HBO.
Boom... if he retires or just doesn't fight Golovkin, there you have it

If Sergio hasnt beaten anyone good then why would anyone say he has to fight GGG because he's fought worst fighters then Sergio.

Let Sergio get his pay day, and after the fight, if he blatantly refuses to fight GGG, THEN call him a duck.

            For now, it's understandable.

Right, Golovkin just fought Stevens....where was he in the top 10...yeah, he wasn't. He also didn't want Macklin to get a tune-up after a year layoff so I assume not wanting Martinez to get a tune-up after a year layoff and surgery is par for the course.

Sergio has already had at least 7 million dollar paydays. when does golovking get his payday? he's the one that's willing to fight. the guy that's not willing to fight top guys gets the money. welcome to boxing. cotto is barely top 10 at 154. he lost his last 2 fights to legit competition. why is he relevant?

Stevens was ranked in the top 10 in fact he's still there, currently #10 despite losing to GGG.

Chavez jr was Sergio's money fight. No one gave jr a chance. I'm tired of these excuses. oH he needs a tune up. Oh he wants a money fight. gtfo out with this ****. Always an excuse. Now here is Cotto who is both a money fight and a tune up lmao
