So you're saying he'll fight ANYONE at 154, 160 and 168 but won't offer Ward a contract because in your opinion if Ward feels he's behind things may turn nasty? So in other words he really won't fight everyone, or is this just a fans excuse why he hasn't offered a contract? I like GGG, but just because he said something doesn't mean a thing until he follows through. Now in MY opinion Ward is to much to bite off at this point and I THINK Gennady knows this, otherwise he'd be trying to make this fight. I also think he understands this fight will much bigger down the road. I don't buy a single thing that was written in post #35...sorry.

you joking right? GG hasnt done anything to even step in the ring with ward and hes never been upto 168 and he shudnt he would get destroyed at 168 by any decent boxer.

For Andre Ward, Groves is much easier than Rodriguez...

I'm not so sure that Groves would want to go to jOakland.

Groves fought in the Bay Area just last year.

No, Rodriguez may have been physically tougher because of the way he fights and throws himself on Ward. But Groves would be more difficult because he will box and move around. He's not just going to throw himself at Ward. I think Ward beats him but it won't be easier than Rodriguez.
