Just an awesome post, Ty. Knowledgable observations. Those are exactly my thoughts put into a nicely articulated post. That's why we're such good buddies!

None of them are scared of Triple G, all have faced bigger and hard hitting men before.
Triple G is the unproven entity, we know what Ward, Froch and Groves can do

ALL of them are, don't fool yourself.
Because no one wants to step inside the ring with Golovkin. Golovkin would dispose of Froch and Ward in devastating fashion, a true beating. Ward would be more complicated though, he is on a level above those two.

Good match up. It's new and fresh between two young fighters. A change from all the rematches, trilogies and recycled fights.

Would really like to see GGG power at SMW though. Yes he can throw good hurtful shots but would those move guys like Froch for instance
Also good point on the footwork - footwork doesn't mean shimmying and dancing around the ring. Footwork is all about being poised and ready to come back with a counter and GGG is very good at that.
Anyways from a fans perspective I would like to see GGG make a few fights at LMW or SMW first. If Groves fights Ward I can see him coming up short I just don't think he has the talent level to compete with someone who is at the level of mayweather, hopkins etc.

Ward is The Ring champ at 168, #2 P4P, and has wins over the #'s 1, 2, 6, 8, SMW's, and Rodriguez was also top 10 but was removed altogether because he said he is leaving 168. 2 of Ward's 4 wins over top 10 SMW's went on to become champion after he beat them.
