I would be hard pressed to put cotto in the top 10 at 154. he hasn't beaten anyone ranked there in 3 and a half years and lost to the last 2 top 10 guys he faced. he hasn't even earned a shot at a 154 pound title in reality so fu-kk no he hasn't.

You really think there are 10 guys at 154 better than Cotto?

If I tried to name 10, it'd look like: Mayweather, Lara, Canelo, Trout, Molina, maybe Andrade, and I think that's everyone I would rank above Cotto.

None of those names come close to what Mosley, Mayweather, Margarito, Clottey, Pacquiao... etc ETC were during the time Cotto fought them.

Cotto has never avoided anybody. His resume is truly incredible.

        And I hope so man.........
        Pavlik is a good win
Williams 2 was a good win the ishida fight was after that big knockout so you can't down play his win after he won and the fighter he knocked out cold looked like **** after wards.
Also that weeded version of Chavez was given a chance to beat Sergio by tons of people.

Funny how Cotto has no fear about fighting at 160 yet mention Floyd doing it and his nsb fangirls start shrieking and practically pee on themselves

From a "what have you done for me lately" point of view, no he has not earned a shot. But Cotto has a resume that allows him to fight pretty much anyone he wants.

he can fight whoever he wants, but not for the mw title... let the real mw contenders fight for that title...

he has no resume at 160, he wont even beat trout, but after beating the great delvin he is now p4p worth of a mw title shot, you boxing geniuses..

canelo doesnt deserve the shot, neither cotto, he did great fights at welter but that doesnt mean he deserves a shot more than any top10 mw... i mean he lost 2 of his last 3 at jmw and his one victory was the great delvin rodriguez??
