That's exactly what they did apply pressure, like someone else told you already just because it didn't work doesn't mean they didn't try implementing that style. Against Maidana is going to do the same damn thing, and Mayweather would be licking his lamb chops knowing that's the only way Maidana would fight him. Hatton? Its not about implementing a style, its about boxers that dont just put pressure, but also have hammers for hands and damange what they hit. If you look at FMJ oponents last 10 fights before fighting him, none of them are heavy handed and their KO ratio shows just that. Good ol Floyd knows who to fight and at what time of their career, that's how he stays undefeated.
