The Winky Wright that Quillin beat was definitely not the Winky Wright of old. Therefore it is possible that the version of Macklin that Golovkin knocked out was better than the version of Winky Wright that Quillin decisioned.

Winky Wright hadn't fought in 3 years prior to fighting Quillin. He's obviously had a better career than Macklin though. The Macklin GGG beat is better than the Winky Wright Quillin beat, you're deluded if you think otherwise.

Geale, of course. He is ranked in the top 4 or 5 middleweights in the world while Kirkland is not ranked at middleweight and has been fighting at 154. He knocks them both out but Kirkland might get KOed in the first round again because he is so easy to hit and only fights going forward. That kind of fighter does not last long at all with GGG.
