I am sure that Cotto feels that he can beat an old Martinez coming off an injury and over a year of inactivity.
Even if he is taking less money he is also taking less risk. Canelo would stop Cotto at this point in his career.

I like the fight but not at 160 for Cotto. Dude is 5'7" right?? He had trouble with Trouts size, I see this fight going the same way but possibly worse. But Cotto with Roach does make it interesting though.

Great fight and Cotto is right in what he said about Canelo only being 23 and will still be there. A fight with Martinez has to happen now before it's too late. Also, the fight will be for the lineal middleweight title so I hope it doesn't happen at a catchweight.
