I wouldn't want to see it, which is why I'm hoping that Sergio beats cotto next year. It'd be a very cheap way for Floyd to win another belt in six division. Cotto isn't a real middleweight, he's not even a legit a Jr middleweight. Mayweather vs Martinez needs to happen.Comment

Floyd would not fight Martinez, even at his "current" state.
Cotto on the other hand fought:
Prime Juda
Much younger/prime Mosley
Prime Margarito
Prime Pac
Prime Floyd
Bunch other on their prime!
and now taking upon the Linear MW Champion of the World! You got to be kidding me, Cotto has depleted Uranium balls the size of basketballs!! You cant deny Miguel's courage, attitude and determination!
The definition of a HOF!!
WAR COTTO!!!!!!Comment

Cotto going up to face the Linear MW Champion of the World arguably P4P 3-6 vs Floyd fighting Pac's sparing partner?
I guess that we all have standards.....Comment

Martinez is the one who will be rejuvenated by June. The reason he was so sloppy in the Murray fight was because he didn't let his knee fully heal from the first surgery, which then required another surgery. This time he has given his knee enough time to properly heal and should be very fresh for this fight. It's not like he's in the nba or nfl; an injured knee is not a death sentence. I don't think the knee will be a problem.
Martinez will brutalize Cotto. Cotto has no business at 160, but I'm glad he is challenging himself. Cotto is a true champion. Martinez knocking him out will be a great way to send him into retirement.Comment
