Boxing has to be the dumbest business model in sports. Floyd-Manny would be the BIGGEST MONEY MAKING SPORTING EVENT in the history of the world. Both guys would make $75 million, at least, and everyone else (TV, entourages, licencing bodies, taxi drivers/hotels/restaurants in the city that it's held in, managers, etc) would make the most money they've ever made as well.

And it doesn't happen.

okay then.. manny is an easy opponent passed his prime for the buggest pay in boxing history. it makes so much business sense rediculous

How much business sense does it really make for either fighter? Mayweather takes home pretty much all of the PPVs and pretty much all of the purse for all of his fights and Manny/Arum take home most of the PPV and purse for Mannys fights. Granted the fight MAY generate the largest PPV revenue in history, but the split will likely put both fighters below what they are used to making, especially Mayweather. I mean look the largest grossing fight in history is Mayweather vs Alvarez, but Alvarez only recieved 12 mil for that fight. How much more do you think a Mayweather vs Pac fight will generate? I doubt it will do much better than Floyd vs Canelo, but Floyd would have to give up more money to Pac.
And lets not forget Arum still owes Floyd money for the Gatti fight and one other fight. So I doubt any of you would be eager to do business with someone who has yet to pay you for business dealings in the past. If I'm not mistaken Mayweather never said that he is opposed to fighting Pac he just is not willing to deal with Arum. That is why he called Pac directly to offer him the fight. It has been said plenty of times that they will give Arum money to step aside and let them promote the fight.
