Real fans don't care about numbers. I have said many times that I don't care if a PPV sells one to me but I would enjoy a bigger event. Wouldn't you? If you say no then you just a hater if you say yes than you should support this

i think he's talking about how JR says he's the only draw and sells only because of him when he has very popular fighters on his undercards, and is trying to get an even bigger superstar undercard with big names like broner and canelo.

Floyd needs a popular opponent or big undercard to make huge sales in ppv. He alone is not going to reach 1.5 or 2 million.

This guy is a fake PPV Queen. She knows it. Showtime is losing money. They spend more than they make in her fights. They have to sell 550K PPV for her guarantee alone.

They wanted to negotiate the Pac fight, but the queen says, "Hell NO!" She wants Khan but SHO says, "Hell NO!"

Her compromise is to form the necessary undercards probably just to make SHO break even. If only she's willing to cut her guarantee, spreads it and shares it to the undercard fighters it wouldn't be too painful for SHO.

He takes all the credit for the PPV numbers, then use it as a negotiating ploy. Meanwhile, Showtime is losing money.

Floyd wants these "named" fighters on his undercard because he knows that without them, his numbers would suffer. Yet when Floyd was being interviewed about Canelo's "fan base" he shrugged it off and couldn't give Canelo the credit for bringing in a lot of the PPV numbers.

In summary, of course people want to see the best cards possible BUT Floyd will never say the reasoning about it nor give the other fighters the credit they deserve nor acknowledge ALL OF THE reasons why his numbers are better than others. Floyd just wants to take all the credit.

I agree with Mayweather. Canelo shouldn’t try and fight off of Mayweather’s card yet because he hasn’t picked up the fans necessary for him to go off on his own. Canelo did well in fighting Floy Mayweather last September and benefiting from Mayweather’s Midas touch in bringing in fans to purchase the fight on PPV. But Canelo needs more time before he can start headlining his own fight cards. At 23,Floy Mayweather wasn’t a PPV fighter. That didn’t come until much later after he had built up his name following his win over De La Hoya back in 2007.
