Canelo is not fighting on the undercard, but Broner might. The problem is he brings no extra buys on May 5. They should match him with Cano, that might work.

With Guerrero, who is not as well known, it didn't do well even though the event occurred in May.
BS. Nobody is buying Mayweather PPVs for the undercard.

There are a few things to highlight about this, both of which are good for fans if we lost past the Floyd criticisms. Since Im neither a floyd nut or a a hater, this is how i see it:

        1. Floyd knows Khan alone won't be enough. the UK is cute, but the fight won't sell in the US because it's Floyd vs no chin (barf)

        2. Floyd now wants to stack the card to make up for a **** fight that only true floyd nut huggers will buy as legit. That's good for the rest of us. I can live with Khan if the card is absolutely stacked. Good fights are good fights regardless of who takes credit.

        3. Yes, there is a good degree to which Floyd has been riding Mexican holidays and fighters (think about the numbers Floyd vs Devon would do). But he has always been a good sport about it and has gone about the right way. He gives chances to Mexican fighters. He is a businessmen but overall it makes for exciting weekends for Mexican fans. This is a good thing. If Floyd wants to stack the card with all Mexicans in order to sell more; GOOD, it means a big boxing weekend. The Floyd + Mexican fighters/fans is a good marriage. I like it and he does it the right away, goes to ESPN, interviews with Chavez, etc. It's all good.

        4. Canelo has to be smart, not proud. On his own, he might be a PPV boxer already, but can be much bigger if he can attract more than Mexican fans. Fight with Floyd and he adds fans.

        5. Add Matthysse, Garcia, Broner, Maidana, Mares (2-3 of those), and I'm in. I'll skip the main event. But i'm buying.

Her compromise is to form the necessary undercards probably just to make SHO break even. If only she's willing to cut her guarantee, spreads it and shares it to the undercard fighters it wouldn't be too painful for SHO.

He takes all the credit for the PPV numbers, then use it as a negotiating ploy. Meanwhile, Showtime is losing money.
He has to come up with an alternative to the Pac fight,
which he will avoid at all costs till he retires.

That would be hilarious if after all that big boss talk he tried, Alvarez ends up back on Floyd's undercard.

Exactly my point... If it happens wonder what Canelo will say when someone asks him about it."I didn't think I would get schooled when i said that"

Canelo has said in past interviews he will never fight in any of Floyd ppv. Mayweather needs to stop being matchmaker and find some balls to get in the ring with Pac

But thats not happening.Floyd seems to be the one desperate to
have canelo on his card to help sell his fight.Canelo hasint shown
any interest to be on floyds card.So idk whats funny.
