    Lol wut

He left because Showtime offered him more money. That's it. Quit looking deeper into it trying to make it seem like Floyd took some courageous stand against HBO or something. If HBO offered more money than Showtime they would still have him. Truth is they thought paying a man going into his late 30's a parking lot full of trucks filled with cash was insane. Even if it's Floyd Mayweather.

Browner is one of the best fighters out there. He just needs to grow up.after what happened in the maidan a fight. His next opponent had better be ready because a complete skilled beating is coming.

can't see how anybody could like Broner
even the Floydfags should resent him, he makes Floyd look bad
if you're gonna jack someone's style, at least do it right
        Broner couldn't even do that
and he's cornier on the mic than Floyd is
let's name a city after Maidana or something

No, it just made punk as baby crying Floyd happy along with his nut huggers. That's all. The rest of us are sad they fired a class-act such as Merchant.

Floyd? Why is everyone so preoccupied with fu@king Floyd and Pac?

I will be glad when those two fighters retire so boxing can go beyond the constant talking about these guys.

I have been watching boxing for over 35 years and trust me these two will be forgotten in history just like the rest of the great fighters, because there is ALWAYS someone next.

Merchant is garbage and bias, and always has been.

Well to some people on here boxing revolves around Mayweather or Pacquiao and their fans, everything is about Mayweather fans lol.

Wow! This is mind blowing. With just his first career loss and only at the tender age of 24, everyone wants to believe that this kid's boxing career is over. Sure he absorbed more than his usual share of punishment again El Chino in their fight but barring the two knockdowns, he yet he still managed to make it very close and hotly contested bout. He made the mistake in underestimating the size and power of Maidana by fighting flat-footed and allowing Marcos to get his punches off first. However, it's only a matter of time before Broner will be back on top again. It's only one set back. One fight doesn't make or break a career. What I find so ironic; Is how some fighters are allowed to lose some fights while others are not allowed to lose any?
