It’s pretty easy to see why given Pacquiao’s incredibly low pay-per-view numbers for his last fight against Brandon Rios last month. After that disaster, Arum needs a proven PPV money fighter, and the only one he’s got that he can count on to boost Pacquiao to 1 million buys and over is Marquez.

With many pacman fighting Marquez, could get expect an additional 600,000 buys at the minimum, and that’s not Pacquiao bringing those fans in. You can bet that those fans wouldn’t be paying for the fight just to see Pacquiao.

They’d be fans of Juan Manuel Marquez paying to see him destroy Pacquiao for a 2nd time time and beat arguably for the 5th straight time after having lost twice by controversial decisions and robbed by a draw in his first fight with manny pacquiao. A lot of the fans would be paying to see Marquez put Pacquiao out of his misery and sending him into a permanent retirement.
Wait.....wtf?? I thought only Mayweather needed other fighters to boost PPV numbers.....Pacboy said its the other fighters who sell Mayweathers PPV.....so why in the hell would Lord Pac need Marquez?

I want to see a 5th fight. All of the previous ones have given me my money's worth by far.

The 4th fight was epic, Pac got brutally knocked out, yet Flowmos decry this 5th fight as a quintessential Pac cherry-pick

        The mind boggles.

Because their fights MADE MONEY...people wanted to see them fight, because they knew they'd see a good all-action fight. Lewis was an attacking fighter whilst britton was defensive.

          Pacquiao-Marquez fights are the same.

NO....see below. Jack Johnson, Sam McVeagh, Harry Wills, Sam Langford, Benny Leonard, and many, many more had multiple fights as many as 20, with the same opponent.

Don't know anything aout those dudes, did they hate each other?

20 fights is a serious rivalry, in grade school I fought the same dude 3 times. I thought that was a rivalry. 20 times, I don't even know what to think of that. Dudes must of been obsessed with each other, no *****.

Don't even know why I post here anymore.
