Marquez expected to get 15 $ million for Pacquiao 5th fight

It used to be that one championship in one weight class was enough. It used to be that a hard fought trilogy was enough. Now with this fifth fight in the offing it turns this great rivalry into a cheap T.V. series.

If we stayed with a trilogy, we would have missed out on 4, which was the best fight of the series. I had a couple of non fans over, and they finally got it, the appeal of boxing

So tempting, Marquez want that money bad but he's also afraid of the pain PAC will dish out this time around. He's trying to figure out and see if it's worth it, will the hospital bill be 13m, 10m, 5m, or 2m. If it's 2m he'll fight PAC forsure but he's leaning toward 10m .

I will never understand the need for a 5th fight... People are just hoping Manny KO's Marquez or beats him to a pulp. Marquez already KO'D Manny so why do we need to see another fight? It does nothing for either of them except money. The fight probably wont even sell that much because people realize that Marquez is old now and so far out of his prime its not worth watching. Very pointless fight imo. TR 147 and 140 division is so dead. Even their 154 division is dead. GB really does have the best 140-154 divisions right now. Those are were the best fights are right now.

Marquez Is old and so far out of his prime, yet he just fought a prime Bradley, with Bradley winning a very close SPLIT decision, the judges scoring it 115-113 Marquez, 115-113 Bradley, 116-112 Bradley. The fight will sell, and It will sell big, and If Pacquiao does beat Marquez In a rematch, he will have legitimately earned the respect of the boxing world. It can't be an easy task getting back Into the ring with a guy that left you face down and motionless for what seemed like a good 2-4 minutes. Hell, Pacquiao deserves respect for just getting back Into the ring with Marquez, win or lose.

For all the jokes Pac fans make about Floyd's cherry picking, at least he hasn't faced the same guy 5x times.

Pac's resume has taken a nose dive over the past few years. Last time he took on a different, quality fighter, Bradley, he wasn't very good.
