In terms of fighting weight.....
But If you want to argue about titles, up to you. But Manny or Jones were not lineal champions in their respective divisions here. We all know youre big on lineage
I was sad to see Jones never fighting for lineage at 175 being my favourite fighter at the timeComment

i consider him a big welter because on fight night he normally weights over the WW limit. hence big WW.
as for he is smaller than floyd what do you mean? weight wise it varies fight to fight i belive. floyd comes it at averagely between 147-151 apparently and pac is much the same. height wise i think there is a quater of an inch in floyds favour or something tiny like that.Comment

I've boxrec'd both Manny and Floyd's ascension to each belt. How legitimate do you consider pacs titles to be? from memory didnt he fight for a lot of vacant championships? i.e he moved up had 1 fight for a vacant championship and left the division, how many times did he actually fight the champion? and how many times did he fight the strongest champion in the weight class? im sure i looked this up once and it made the impressive 8 different weight classes look much less impressive?
so does the legitimacy of his wins to becom champion count? or is that irrelevent and saying champion in 8 different weight classes is enough?
Look it up yourself. Manny's takes a dump on Floyd's.
Look at each fighter both men have faced, and at what weight class, when they got a belt at a brand new weight class.
Manny's resume is sick!Comment

16. He was 16, fighting as a pro. Even more perspective, he was, according to you, malnourished. A malnourished 16 year old fighting against men. and you tried to downplay it.Originally posted by Money Team.lets put this in perspective..he started boxing as a teenager and was malnurished...when he was coming up in the ranks he was always the bigger man in the ring...YES it is amazing how he improved as a fighter and went from nothing to an ATG.but lets not act like he is the same size as the grown men fighting at 108

He already is in alot of ways. As far as who would win? That's debatable. Right now, we know who has a pair and who doesn't. Lol!Comment

Floyd's able to fill out more, and has the longer reach. Weight doesn't mean ****. Manny had to ingest 7,000 calories a day when he was starting at WW.i consider him a big welter because on fight night he normally weights over the WW limit. hence big WW.

I HIHGLY doubt FLoyd would have to do that, and he trains non stop, 24/7. Manny doesn't. Even more reason to believe Floyd is obviously the naturally bigger man.Comment

I think nearly every welterweight fighter fights above 147 at fight nighti consider him a big welter because on fight night he normally weights over the WW limit. hence big WW.

And there's a huge difference between weighing in at a certain weight, especially after a training camp.
When Manny's in a training camp, he loses weight and bodily fluids, and weighs in at 130-whatever weight.
When he's at WW, he HAS to ingest a boat load of food to keep that weight on during training camps, for the weigh ins.
Use some common sense.Comment
