Bronner Deleone fight: Anatomy of a disaster

First off...Bronner never should have been given opportunities post this fight...He lost that fight, the fix was in. One judge had him winning by a large margin no less when even Lettermen had the score right. That idiot Kellerman desperately was trying to give the house fighter (Bronner) props and it was disgusting.

I just watched that fight and I have to tell you...Bronner never made any adjustments despite losing that fight (anyone with any common sense could see Ponce won). Ponce threw more punches and won more rounds. Even Compusux got the punchcount right!

Anyone watching that fight could have figured out what would happen to Bronner....If I had watched this fight before I would have picked Madionna!

The point is: [B]If Bronner did not make adjustments based on this fight[B] What indication is there that he can/will/is able to make adjustments to what happened on Saturday?

Bronner has fast hands and had the house behind him...end of story, Ponce kicked his ass pretty damn hard that fight for all the same reasons that the superior, more powerful Madionna did a number on Bronner.

The things he said are the reasons why Escobedo failed against broner, are actually the things that Maidana did to succeed against him.

Interesting breakdown - he didn't mention one thing that Maidana did repeatedly - he did bring Broners high shoulder down repeatedly through keeping him off balance, but over and above that had clearly practiced a very high looping right that'd go over Broners shoulder and used it throughout the fight. It ain't a big KO punch, but it's a hurtful one that could open the way to other things.
