I know it's funny, he united boxing fans alike with a win over a dude, who it turns out, had just about ruined his likeability factor with an overwhelming majority of boxing fans.

And at last he comes out of his cave! Mention Golovkin though and he'll disappear again.

Im 100% Mexican and I can tell you Chino's win was as much ours as anyone else's. Maidana represents what humbleness is all about. Maidana Mexico was with you all the way, and whoever mentions GGG as a monster make sure you see this Broner as an example of what it is to hype up a limited boxer. Martinez healthy will take GGG to school. Martinez has too much talent not like Broner to stop the GGG train!!!! Choose the words carefully and don't make GGG like if he is a great one. He hasn't fought anyone yet to put him in a pedestal.

        Latinos Unidos!!!!FK Broner.....

Guys that go that route often play it up for effect; but I always felt that Broner is simply an unlikable individual, that he's not pretending very much. The robbery accusations, the comments about Malignaggi's girlfriend, dry-humping Maidana...the kid is a lowlife, as far as I'm concerned.

People don't like Floyd, and I'm certainly not a fan of the guy, but he strikes me as someone who really does play it up for effect. I want to see someone beat Mayweather the fighter, not necessarily the man. Where Broner's concerned, it's both.

Sergio is always a class act.

I'd love to see Mayweather vs Maidana.

of course Mayweather will be the heavy favorite, as he should be but Sugar Ray Leonard said something once about Mayweather in programming before the Mayweather Mosley PPV. Leonard said that as a fighter gets older punches to the top of the head become a lot more troublesome.

Mayweather is going to be 37 next year. so if Mayweather gets in his shell Maidana might connect with that over hand right and hurt Mayweather. that's Maidana's only chance in my opinion. I guess he could just try to out work Mayweather but he might get KOed walking in.

some might say Canelo is a harder puncher and didn't have any success against Mayweather but Canelo is fights stiff and is predictable. Maidana is lot more awkward

This fight gave me an absolute buzz! What a way for boxing to finish in 2013!!

Every single time during the lead up and the fight itself that Broner tried to clown/punk Maidana, Chino returned the favour and had the last laugh. The true definition of a BOSS!

Funny moments: when Broner entered the ring and went up to Maidana and eyeball and Maidana and trainer Robert Garcia just simultanously burst into laughter and Broner just moves on. Also, members of team Maidana combing Broner's head after the fight. I saw Cicilio Flores do it and also Maidana himself did it (but he had gloves on). That was so funny.

I knew Maidana had it in the bag the moment Lil boner attempted to clown on ma boy chino because for a quiet guy he was actually being a bully and that was so refreshing. Here are the following incidents:
1.Boner is jumping in front of the scale during chinos weigh in,chino comes up,says "get the f outa the way" and pushes him out the way lol
2.Boner starts to put his hand up during the face of like "***** women saying no you didnt!" chino slaps boners hand and pushes him back.
3.Boner goes up to chino durin intros and starts hoping in front of chino and robert so chino start jumping while looking at robert and they both start cracking up so boner leaves lol.
4.Boner ****s chino and then chino ****s him back and then socks him with a right lol
5.Boner after the fight comes over to chino humbled to hug him and chinos camp tell him to comb his hair lol

Closing thoughts,i never thought boner would ever be in a fight I would enjoy watching until I watched him in a fight getting ****d.

                      Great post - 100% agree.

You have to respect Mayweathers skillset - find it hard to respect anything about Broner. He is just comedy.
