It will be real difficult. He doesn't have a core fan base like international stars. His "0" was his ticket.
ya people still say that about floyd and corrales his only chance is to win a rematch. If were looking for our next ppv star to be mayweather thats not going to happen its not going to be fighters who win every fight like mayweather and pac

Broner is an asset to the sport of boxing like Lil Wayne is to music, Tyler Perry is to the cinema, and Jersey Shore is to TV. Garbage for the ignorant masses to consume and spend their money on without thinking. Broner may have a little bit of talent, but not enough to forgive him for being a professional circus act.

The problem is he has a checkered past, a huge mouth, has attacked innocent people, made racist remarks, throws money down the toilet, takes videos of himself in sexual acts, came in overweight for a fight and didn't apologize or try to make weight, and treats opponents like SHT, tries to copy Floyd, even to the point of grabbing an opponents throat, is beyond arrogant for his actual accomplishments, and then when he got his as$$ kicked, he went into an acting job with the head butt and then waited for the decision in the fight to be announced and ran like crazy when he heard he was not the winner. And now he talks about partying instead of discipline. Do I need to continue???????? One thing after another, one bad decision after another. He has had about a hundred chances to redeem himself. He needs to GROW THE *** UP!! No one is cutting this guy any slack and for a ton of reasons, all of which are his fault.

I think Broner has a future, as the B side villain. He's great press for any fight and people will always pay to see him get his comeuppance...

Look man, Yuri has flaws and lately has looked like ****, but in his "prime" he was more capable than the incredibly limited Broner.
IMO AB isn't nealy as "limited" as people are saying. Believe it or not, there is a bigass grey area betweem special and limited. And AB falls in there somewhere. But obviously, that's something he's gonna have to prove in the ring.

As for a fight between he and Gamboa. My opinion of how that fight would play out changed dramatically after the Rees fight. I went from thinking AB would outclass him to thinking its pretty much a pick em fight. Both would be touched, likely often. And I think it probably comes down to who can handle the others shots.

I'm not trying to be a smart ass. But why do sport's fans care so much about what athletes do in their spare time? Sticking to the topic at hand. If AB wants to flush money down the toilet, so what. As far as we know, he earned it legally. So if he wants to flush it so be it. If he wants to put his lil ****o **** on the internet. So what. If the girl is of legal age and doesn't have a problem with it, why should I? And most importantly. If he doesn't wanna breakdow and take his career more seriously, that's on him.I was a fight fan before he hit the scene. And God willing, I'll be a fight fan long after he's gone. Some people's mentality is different. I know most of us think, "if I had a chance to be a pro athlete and make all that money, i'd do this, that, and the other." Where some think "I'm a live it up while I have a chance." "And when its over its over." Again, his choice.

disrespecting the sport by his disregard of making weight and not even apologizing and not trying to make weight like he did against Escobedo is not his spare time and waiting till the decision was announced in the Maidana fight and then running out of the ring is not either. But if that was your mother who had been hit and robbed by Broner, I ***ing guarantee you that you would not be a fan. It is classless to take videos of himself having sex and letting them get out as much as it is taking a sht at Popeye's and filming it for the public to see. I actually expect to admire and respect a fighter to some extent before I support them. It is not in my DNA to admire and respect someone who is classless and overly arrogant and I'm certain I am not alone in that perspective.

Broner has peaked and he's not going to get any better than he is. Scahefer is fooling nobody but himself if he truly believes this guy is marketable at the PPV Headliner level. Highly doubtful.
