Comments Thread For: Schaefer: Adrien Broner Can Still Become PPV Headliner

The welterweight title fight between Adrien Broner and Marcos Maidana was originally supposed to headline a Dec. 14 pay-per-view on a card in Las Vegas, but instead it kept the same date and was changed to a Showtime broadcast airing out of San Antonio.

If the thought was that Broner could still make his debut as a pay-per-view star in 2014, then those plans must be affected by Broner’s loss to Maidana, the first loss of Broner’s pro career and the defeat of a brash antihero. [Click Here To Read More]

I wouldn't bank on it. He's still highly marketable but I dont think he overcomes his deficiencies as a boxer regardless of his antics out of the ring

He's going to have to KO Maidana in a rematch to be considered PPV status. But lets be honest it was an entertaining fight no matter how much you hate him.

              He's a proven clown.

Whenever he opens his mouth to say something disrespectful again people are just going to bring up these gifs and memes and laugh at him some more.

broner is a great talent. he needs to take the sport serious. you can't bring that outside crap into the ring. you are a fighter in the square circle and nothing else.if last night did'nt humble him then he's headed to another humbling experiece.he can fight like hell.

Exposed!....although still a kid....thinks he is better than he is...Maidana is no super star but a decent belt on him...well done ..stuck at it but pretty average,
                  look where this puts Broner!
