Yep, Maidana was this hot back when he knocked out Ortiz and fought that FOTY fight with Khan. He was then overshadowed by the Matthysse hype and Martinez at 160 and became the "third Argentine". Now I think he's on top as the most popular realistic option for Floyd at WW-JMW. Garcia does not want it right now his dad admitted it would be ******.

I can't believe people think Maidana can just try and rush Floyd like he did with Broner. Do you think Mayweather would have no answer to that? Hard to believe some people really know what they're watching sometimes

I would say Maidana stands basically no chance against Mayweather but i do believe he has earned a payday.

May is the best no doubt, does he win this fight easy? Most likely but maidana deserves the opportunity right now...he didn't just squeak a decision past broner he seriously hurt him

Floyd should fight Maidana in May, unify the WBC and WBA titles.

Garcia vs Guerrero in March/April
Porter vs Brook in March/April
Thurman vs Malignaggi in April/May
Khan vs Ortiz in May/June

Floyd fights Danny Garcia in September, so long as he beats Guerrero in the Spring. Thurman/Malignaggi winner could fight either Porter/Brook winner or Khan/Ortiz winner. Which ever one Thurman/Paulie didn't choose could then fight either Lucas, Broner, Devon, which ever by that time picks up a decent win by then.

By that time, Floyd will be on to his final two fights, May and September 2015. By that time, he could potentially fight either Pacquiao or Bradley, both of their contracts with Arum will be up by then, and fight who ever comes out of the other WW fights, hopefully......KEITH THURMAN. By that time Thurman could have wins over Soto Karass, Paulie, Ortiz/Khan, Porter/Brook, Lucas, or any number of good fighters and be a more known name.

Thurman vs Malignaggi (It'd be interesting to see what Thurman does with someone who he won't out box as the boxer puncher, he'd have to rough Paulie up)
Khan vs Ortiz
Garcia vs Guerrero
Porter vs Brook

Let Broner fight someone like Lopez next to get his confidence back
