I like Floyd or Rigo for this year, I think Garcia had a good year but Matthysse isn't as good as a Donaire win and the Judah win is meaningless. Bradley doesn't match up well against Floyds year, if their wins were reversed people would obviously pick Bradley.

Any of the 4 would be good for me.

Rigo's negative is Agbeko was a pointless fight, and has been irrelevant since Mares in 2011. Bradley's negative is he went life and death with Provo, and arguably may have lost. Garcia's negative is Judah wasn't anything more then decent, and Judah pushed him to the brink late. Mayweather's negative is people hate him. Lol Only half kidding.

I chose Garcia. but really I wouldn't be surprised if Maidana wins it with that shocking upset of the year. or Mayweather just because he aslo put on some stellar performances this year along with breaking a few of his own records!!! Great Year for Boxing!!! Cant wait for 2014!!!

            Marcos Maidana.
Maybe not the most classy and skilled student of the sweet science but lets keep the following in mind:

1)No one gave him a chance. Even those of us that did think he had a chance of winning, which was already very few, we though it would be much closer/competitive.
2)Maidana was respectful until Broner opened his big ****** mouth.
3)After that Maidana had no respect for him. Said he would kick his ass, put a gun to his head and pushed him away while laughing at him, then goes up to the ring and gives Broner a old school beating like a boss.
4)When all is said and done and after fking him for 12 rounds, he laughs at him and combs Broner's head. Broner leaves crying.

Thanks Chino, Christmas came early this year. I couldnt ask for more and because of that you are this year's boxer.

Now it's "What did Floyd do"???

You're telling me beating Campillo and Cleverly > Beating Guerrero and Canelo???
I wanted it to be over so Canelo could start fighting 154lbers on a consistent basis, not because I was actually intrigued by the match-up. The match-ups that I'm truly interested in probably won't happen: Martinez (160), Lara (154), and Bradley (147). Floyd is doing what he can, but I just wasn't excited about Ghost and Canelo. On paper, he fought two of the best guys he could at 147/154, so with that in mind, he deserves consideration. He's just not my FOTY, I wasn't looking forward to his fights like I was with other candidates. Hell, I was looking forward to his under-card bouts more than the main event. He made money, broke records and looked dominant doing it against respectable opposition. I'm pretty sure Floyd will be a top 5 candidate for Ring.

Sorry, you said Bradley never outclassed anyone..Did not specify for just this yr,and tbh it did not sound like that's what ya meant either..

Anyway,of course Bradley is not going to outclass his opponent..When his opponent was better then most peoples opponents for the yr..Like I said I have no issue with Rigo or Floyd or Garcia..To say Bradley is not in the mix is just foolish..My point from the start..My point now..

You can't re-write history, but people love to with Floyd. It's like Mosley. That fight went from "Floyd is going to duck Mosley, Floyd needs to fight Mosley or retire, Floyd is facing his toughest test in years against Mosley" to Floyd cherry picking an old Mosley.

Canelo went from "Floyd is going to duck Canelo, Floyd is going to feel real shots from a real big JMW, Floyd's most dangerous fight in years" to Floyd fighting an inexperienced on dimensional fighter.

Just because YOU weren't excited with the fight doesn't mean that's universal. Damn near 99% of the people here or elsewhere said this was THE FIGHT they wanted him to take.

Lol at expecting Floyd to fight at 160 against Sergio, but no one expects any of the real 154 fighters to do that, let alone a small 147 fighter like Floyd.

Rigondeaux and it is not even close !

Beating 2012 fighter of the year + 120-108 on 3 cards against former champion !

I can't think of any one close except Saul Alvarez if he beat Mayweather

Bradley had a good year too, but the quality of his opponents are not very good specially provodnikov , and his performance wasn't that dominant !

Beating Broner or Guerrero deserves no credit IMHO

Maidana win is still hot ! he collects alot of votes here ! but it is an average win IMO ! it is nothing better than Ortiz win !

Ortiz, Berto, Soto Karass, Guerrero, Bradley, D.Alexander, Marquez, Matthysse, D.Garcia, Khan .... all would beat Broner too !! I can easily name over 15 boxers in 140-147 who would easily beat Broner !

                      I really don't understand it !
