lol The irony is, Rigo is the most "boring" fighter on Boxingscene, and he only has "five Cuban fans."
No way, I thought it was six of us!
It's amazing how someone with such a small group of hardcore fans rallies such a large amount of haters that want to see him fail. Love it.. lol reminds me of someone else we know.
LOL @ Rigondeaux winning this pole. The guy fought only twice in 2013, and only beat one significant opponent, and had no knockouts.
Meanwhile, guys like Kovalev and Stevenson are fighting frequently, are taking on the class of their respective divisions, and knocking everyone out, and somehow people think Rigondeaux deserves to be fighter of the year?

It's your world, people.
So Wilder should be #1 right? I swear so many people buy the hype of knocking out bums left and right on tv means something is ridiculous. You really had me til you mentioned Kovalev in the same sentence as Stevenson tho.

How is Kovalev not in the same sentence as Stevenson?

I never said anything about Wilder, he hasn't beaten anyone of note yet. But Kovalev destroyed 4 top ranked opponents in 2013, and that's worthy of fighter of the year consideration.
By the way, EVERYONE is mentioning Kovalev in the same sentence as Stevenson these days. It's fast becoming the fight most boxing fans want to see.
