How is beating Cloud better than beating Campillo? How is Bellew better than Cleverly? How can you say Stevenson had a FOTY type year and Kovalev doesn't belong in the same sentence? That's ridiculous.

Not in a foty sentence no he doesn't, you can triangle theorize it all you want that is not how it works. Campillo who just got knocked the fk out again by someone else getting robber against Cloud 2 years ago has nothing to do with the opposition level both guys faced in 2013 to say their level of opposition is comparable is beyond comprehension without the triangle theories, and the omgawd but he killed a guy doe and such of course. And what exactly has Cloud done since losing to Campillo to still matter? Lose to Hopkins. So he's not in any way shape or form a better win than Campillo. Who else did Stevenson fight, Bellew and Boone? Cleverly beat Bellew and was a title holder, clearly that's a better win than Bellew. Sillakh is plenty comparable to Darnell Boone, neither is that much of a win.

How is Kovalev's competition not comparable, again? Are you going to pull fake ass rankings that tell me Cloud was highly ranked or something? They are obviously comparable. The only advantage Stevenson has is Dawson, who had been weight drained and stopped in his last fight, and besides that had only had Bernard Hopkins for a win that was worth a damn in like 2 years.

Why do you think so highly of Stevenson's competition this year? It wasn't that good.

Not to say Kovalev isn't good, but killing someone in the ring doesn't make you a great fighter.

It certainly suggests that the man is dangerous. How many fighters do you know of that killed someone in the ring that weren't pretty damn dangerous?

Besides, that was simply a response to the notion that Kovalev is all hype. His record and level of opposition prove that he's a very very good fighter.

Talk about wild theories, your assessment that Kovalev is all hype is completely baseless. If he was a hype job, as you seem to think, more fighters would be willing to fight him.

You are still missing Chad Dawson to your list you can **** on Tavoris cloud and say he is comparable to Bellew all you want still don't make it so. You can be king turd one year and have a great year the next the dude was a real contender not someone looking at boxing through a telescope in the rankings. Oh again did I mention the Chad Dawson fight? Kovalev is all smoke and mirrors until he fights Stevenson or at least someone of more note than frikking Sjlka and Cleverly simple as that. I still cant believe how anybody can argue him for 2013 foty his signature win was Nathan frikking Cleverly that is just insane.
