great year of boxing but i had to bet on it id say Floyd will get it...why??he sold over 3 million ppv and won 2 ring titles in 2 weight classes..his face on the ring magazine will help it sell...do others deserve it??hell year..2 names id give it to off top...Danny Garcia or Stevenson...both had coming out years and became THE MAN in their respective divisions

I was as happy as anyone that Maidana beat Broner, but that shouldn't make him FOTY.

I'm going with quality wins over quantity.

Rigondeaux is by far, IMO, the leader of the pack. He gets my nod.. The rest of the list would go like this...

        2. Stevenson
        3. Tim Bradley
        4. Danny Garcia
        5. Kovalev
        6. Floyd
        7. Maidana
        8. GGG
        9. Jhonny Gonzalez
        10. Ruslan

I voted Garcia. Beating Lucas>beating Adrian

Rigo had a great year too.

The outcome of Khan/Mayweather will be the same as Canelo/Mayweather, with Floyd adding another W to his record. Canelo had weight, Khan has speed. The speed coupled with his iffy punch resistance could possibly make for a more entertaining fight. I'm not arguing that he deserves it, I'd prefer Chino/One Time than Mayweather/Maidana.

Why was Rigos year so obviously better than Gonzalez?
