I get it, you think Canelo and Guerrero are great wins. I'm not seeing it because their respective records at the weight isn't strong. I think Dawson is much more proven than Canelo, Cloud more proven at 175 than Guerrero at 147 and then after that Stevenson has two other KO wins, one of which against a guy who KO'd him, the other against his mandatory who is still considered top 10 on almost every list. I think he has the better wins and the better year. That's as far as I'm going with you on it because thread is going off on irrelevant tangents.
More important than WHO is WHEN. Dawson was coming off a one sided beat down against Ward, Cloud was coming off two one sided losses to Campillo (yeah he lost) and Hopkins. And Bellew is nothing more then a decent contender, who'd beaten Chilemba, who'd never beaten anyone in the Top 10. And Boone is an irrelevant journeymen.

Canelo was coming beating Trout, while Trout was at his highest coming off the Delvin and Cotto wins. And Guerrero was #3 at 147, coming off two at least decent wins at 147 against Aydin and Berto, who were both Top 10.

Before Floyd wiped the floor with Canelo, this whole place wanted that fight. It was the most dangerous Floyd fight in forever.

Now it's "What did Floyd do"???

You're telling me beating Campillo and Cleverly > Beating Guerrero and Canelo???

To me none of them truly separate themselves from one another...

Stop playing the victim role again and generalizing. I've always said Floyd would be smart to fight Canelo NOW before he gains more experience. Then came the catchweight... Outcome would've been the same but Floyd let himself opened for criticism with that one.

Not only did Kovalev beat Campillo and Cleverly but he fought 4 times in a year.

Only a flowmo would vote for Floyd or even consider him. Even if you don't like Kovalev as fighter of the year there's still better options than Floyd.

Ring title doesn't always equal lineal title, Floyd already had the true lineal claim by beating the lineal champion in Mosley.

So if Floyd fought one ranked contender, one belt holder who was Top 10, another guy who was a prospect that'd never done anything but get KO'd on ESPN, and a no name journeymen, you'd say he's FOTY, just because he fought 4 times???

Oh and news flash, don't use terms like fl0mo, it just makes you look like a douche bag who's been following the sport only since like 09-10.

If you read other pages, you'd see I maintain this stance....

Any of these 4 should/could win and I would be fine

                  Rigondeaux, Mayweather, Garcia, or Bradley.

Campillo and Cleverly aren't good wins, only a hoe like yourself would hype them as such.

Ok. Well it's pretty good accomplishment to win two RING titles in one year, against the #3 guy in one weight class and the #1 guy in another.
