I'm glad you said something cause I'm thinking the same things. The only people who gave Broner the 11th are his Dad and Winner. I gave Broner 3 rounds. He was thoroughly dominated and exposed. But as Winner said "real boxing fans" already knew Broner was overrated and hyped up. You could foresee this coming with the Rees fight and many others. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have humbled him with his comments that he's still acting like the champ but the world now knows he is not the "heir apparent" to anything.

    • Broner does not deserve a rematch. He needs to seek a fight with Danny Garcia or Lamont Peterson (if he wins). His power is MIA @ WW. Maidaina vs. Thurman is a match made in heaven!!! Too bad Provodnikov is with TR. I would like to see him against either Maidana or Thurman.

      • You losers....

ANYONE giving Boner more than 2 rounds were trying hard to score the fight for the little maggot. Exposed for the third time in his career the punk a s s clone wannabe showed he has little skill, no class and zero ring intelligence. He was flat out owned. If Maidana hadn't so decisively kicked his a s s you would have seen yet another gift decision for the closet ho mo. Provodnikov, Thurman, Porter, and a host of other fighters would have savaged the little punk. No more coverage of this worms antics please. Oh one question....have all the ****** losers that picked race over skill survive your suicide attempts after your boys embarrassing loss last night you boxing ignorant fools? I mean he made ****** look like what it is; RIDICULOUS.

Anyway. Broner showed me a lot tonight. A true warrior. And I knew he would face his toughest fight. And I kept saying that his habit of walking opponents down may surely hurt him in this fight. He never got hit with real power. That's the danger of not taking tough fights early. You can't properly gauge your skills against the best.

What broner showed is tremendous heart and that though knocked down he can take a punch. I'm sure he'll be back and correct his mistakes. Its not a landslide defeat for him but he knows he lost. He has to stay focused in the ring ,tighten up his defensive glitches, and increase his punching output.specifically his jab.

Maidana did what I expected him to. He deserved it. He took care of a tough josesito lopez and soto karass. And fought a few top guys. Definitely looks great on his resume. Easily fight of the year for me. Hope for a rematch. I saw someone said they want to see thurman vs maidana? **** I don't think no one wants to see thurman. The guy to me is a 154 pounder. 2014 should be a great year in boxing.
You then are an idiot. You know NOTHING about boxing. CLEARLY. Or you are 12 years old and this is maybe the 3rd fight you have ever seen. Homie.

I know a lot of you don't understand boxing anyway and are just casual fans. 1 loss doesn't ruin a career. The same people that hope mayweather loses are the same rooting against broner. If money may lost they'd say he's done and blah blah blah. Well for mayweather that might not happen. But since broner lost there will be a bunch of folks saying he done. I still see broner as a fighter with a bright future. He just needs to correct a few things and he will be ok. You see all these mexican and white fighters that don't talk that much **** or maybe they do, if they made it to the end of this fight they would be warriors and ****. Broner gets respect from me for being badly hurt more than once and actually making it a fight. Maidana had to give everything. That's real boxing. Two fighters giving everything.
Broner is a Khunt. You respect him why? Because he didn't quit? He is a B fighter and was exposed by another B fighter who brought his A game. When the going got rough Bone FK fouled. Only ****** can appreciate this losers antics.

                    • Broner is the made in china version of Floyd, He needs to stop eating that MacDonald's ice cream and sweat his arse down to lightweight because that's the only weight he isn't just an opponent any top welterweight or junior welterweight beats him.

I hate to write a fighter off after just one loss but this guy I really can not see him being competitive in welterweight or junior welterweight those divisions are just too stacked with better fighters right now.

Very happy for Maidana though he's a real warrior.
