Maidana was a mandatory challenger to Broners title,so Broner could`nt have a rematch clause.

Wilfredo rivera he fought flat footed at times cuz he was a warrior, that was his style, margs, mayorga, cotto de la hoya 2,vargas 1 pac,,canelo he was a flat footed fighter in all those fights...mayweather as been flat footed since his return to boxing in 09,juzt recently this year floyd began to use his feet again, where ive failed to see mosely use since 2002...so i disagree wit you man
Floyd used movement against Guerrero and Cotto in certain parts of those fights.

I think everyone needs to stop jumping the gun. Maidana won a good fight. I had the fight a lot closer. I had it 7 rounds to 5. Giving broner 3 5 7 11 and 12. But since maidana got the knockdown and was aggressive the judges gave him a couple more. 10 rounds to 2 though? Nall.

Anyway. Broner showed me a lot tonight. A true warrior. And I knew he would face his toughest fight. And I kept saying that his habit of walking opponents down may surely hurt him in this fight. He never got hit with real power. That's the danger of not taking tough fights early. You can't properly gauge your skills against the best.

What broner showed is tremendous heart and that though knocked down he can take a punch. I'm sure he'll be back and correct his mistakes. Its not a landslide defeat for him but he knows he lost. He has to stay focused in the ring ,tighten up his defensive glitches, and increase his punching output.specifically his jab.

Maidana did what I expected him to. He deserved it. He took care of a tough josesito lopez and soto karass. And fought a few top guys. Definitely looks great on his resume. Easily fight of the year for me. Hope for a rematch. I saw someone said they want to see thurman vs maidana? **** I don't think no one wants to see thurman. The guy to me is a 154 pounder. 2014 should be a great year in boxing.

Everyone should understand controversy sells. Broners big mouth attracts fans. Its all entertainment. I know a lot of you don't understand boxing anyway and are just casual fans. 1 loss doesn't ruin a career. The same people that hope mayweather loses are the same rooting against broner. If money may lost they'd say he's done and blah blah blah. Well for mayweather that might not happen. But since broner lost there will be a bunch of folks saying he done. I still see broner as a fighter with a bright future. He just needs to correct a few things and he will be ok. You see all these mexican and white fighters that don't talk that much **** or maybe they do, if they made it to the end of this fight they would be warriors and ****. Broner gets respect from me for being badly hurt more than once and actually making it a fight. Maidana had to give everything. That's real boxing. Two fighters giving everything.

Broner may never fully recover from this beating, mentally or physically.

Nah, it wasn't a close fight. The only way it's close is if you score it homestyle, giving Broner every benefit and scoring all semi close rounds for him.

If Broner were white or Mexican, people like you would call him an unskilled brawler, when in fact I've seen many brawlers with better defense.

Immediate rematch? Give it to him. Lets watch him get ruined.

Unless he plans on moving, which he showed he can't do to save his life, then I don't see him winning a rematch either.
