Well let me tell you a lil story,about a time where i was blessed to have a drink and a time to talk boxing with the great emanuelle steward a few months before he passed....i asked him the epic question that i felt tyson was one of the best fighters of all time,and he humbily disagreed and said "bigger guys who wernt scared of tyson were often too much for tyson"i believed him to a degree...then i asked him if broner was rightfully compared to the great mayweather over any fighter in the last 15 years!!he agreed and said"broner has all the characteristics of a floyd mayweather from the flashiness to the ring style,that he was the only fighter that resembled floyd"....i asked him wut about shane?he said shane had speed and was good at mimicking floyds style but in no shape or form is his style like floyds"""and i agree...broner tried to hard to be like floyd which was his downfall!!

I like Stewart, he was that dude. But I disagree. And there's been various things Steward has said that has been proven to be incorrect and even comical. And many things that he has been spot on right about.

To me, the comparison can't even begin because of one single fact -- Broner is a flat-footed fighter! And that is such a huge deal. You think Mosley in his day would struggle with Paulie? Only thing Broner does that resembles Floyd is the shoulder roll. Outside the ring Broner resembles Floyd waaaaay more than inside the ring.

Steve Forbes has more resemblance to Floyd than does Broner. Mickey Bey resembles Floyd much more than Broner too. And even with those guys, Floyd is a world apart from them. But Bey has so many more skills to compare than does Broner.

Probably the happiest night of boxing for me. Broner got what was coming to him, he doesn't deserve a rematch nor should he get one. Broner should fight matthyse or Peterson or something. Maidana should push for a money fight against Floyd or Garcia.
