Great fight. Obviously, my guy got his ass kicked. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. The difference tonight was that Chino could hurt AB and AB couldn't hurt Chino. AB took an ass whippin', but showed a lotta heart in a fight where he was totally outgunned. I don't think he's done. But maybe now. He can cut out the Floyd act, get serious about being a fighter, and most importantly, take his ass back down to 35 where he belongs.

BTW, I think the entire country is sticky from the collect nut that's been busted over the last hour. LOL!!!

Too bad more fans/posters can't be like you. Much respect.

And the one thing I learned about Broner tonight is that he is TOUGH as nails! To last all 12 rounds in a fight like that -- and still trying to win in the last round is very impressive.

It's called "HARD WORD AND DEDICATION" it's not about weight it's about strength and Broner isn't strong enough to fight @ 147 yet. He should've moved up to 140 gradually. Everybody can't make that jump.

I hear you but he's been at a heavier weight for a lot longer than people think..it's almost a year now since he's been bulked up, going back down after putting on that kind of muscle mass is going to be hard. I think Broner walks around at 165 or so these days..the all access for mayweather when he was full sized he was at least 165 if he was 158 tonight and looked like that...he's also aging, it's not so easy as you age.

I'm a boxing fan first homie. And even though I like AB. If you comb through my posts I've also been critical of him. He's fine. If you wade through all the bull****. He got his ass kicked mostly because he's not a welterweight, which I've been saying. And unlike the guy he immatates. His skill set isn't elite enough to overcome being completely outgunned from a size and power standpoint. He can go one of two ways. He can let this completely derail him and go down as a hype job. Or, he dust himself off. Take is ass back down to lightweight. And concentrate more on being a fighter than a celebrity. Part of me says he's a clown who's world was rocked to night and he'll never recover. But as a fan of his. I like how he stood in in the championship rounds, completely outgunned, and risked getting KO'd to try and win. That shows he has some character and deep down, he's not a total dip****.

I'm tired of Broner fans coming on here tonight using, (he's not really a welterweight as an excuse). He sure as hell isn't a lightweight any more and there is a reason he leaped over 140 lb division. And he looks like he weighs 160- 170 between fights. As Paul Williams once said, they are called weight divisions not height divisions. AB just got owned and Maidana who hasn't been at 147 long himself would have done the same thing to Broner at 140 imo.

Broner is absolutely a welter... Dude even appears bigger than Maidana and weighed well over 150. He has no power at the weight? Well of course it doesnt seem that way hen you compare to tiny dudes like Rees he was fighting. Just look at Broner how the f uck was e making weight (well... Besides that time he didnt) before. I feel Lucas is a better fighter than maidana and probably p4p harder puncher so Broner vs the top 2 at 140 looks even less encouraging... Its all fun and games when the guys punch back harder and with more ferocity.

Did you even watch the fight? Broner is clearly not a welter he didn't look good at all coming in at 156 I noticed that right off the bat before the fight even started he looked like the blown up LW that he is. Maidana showed who was bigger and stronger from the 1st seconds of rd 1

Looked like AB got his jaw broken. Devastating loss, hopefully it gets him to reassess everything inside and outside of the ring.


Sad for Broner, but happy for Maidana. I'd like to see him vs. Thurman next but everyone seems to want him in for the Money sweepstakes so it's whatever.

Dude, broner cant box ala mayweather. He was forced to fight maidana's fight tonight. Broner isnt a mover. He said he can move, but he cant. He cant fight going backwards either.

I agree. He fights flat footed and is very vulnerable going backwards. He doesn't stick and move as well.
