Big cong**** to Maidana for a hard fought victory. He got tagged after the bell in round 11, hadn't fully recovered, and then early in the 12th he got caught with a great Broner right and he was ready to go down (he started backing up immediately). He made it through the round despite the fatigue. Tough guy!

Broner missed his chance to create a memorable comeback.

Instead, like a wet noodle he drops to the canvas several seconds after Maidana's head butt to gain recovery time and sympathy from the ref (who correctly told him to get up and then inexplicably let him rest in the neutral corner for 20 seconds... WTF).

Broner's punch output was insufficient because he's not a defensive specialist who does not get hit.

The kid is a talented WW but he's not an elite fighter at any weight class. Yet.

Maidana can leverage this win for a better payday. If a rematch doesn't net him A-side money, then let Broner stew in his embarrassing loss.

Maidana just showed the world the blueprint of how to beat Maywearther. Just like he did to Broner. A vicious, relentless, street-like sttack. Guerrero did it to Berto and it worked, donīt know why he didnīt do it to Floyd. Floyd avoided Margarito and Willliams because of their style.

lol they say that about everyone who is about to fight Floyd. " He will apply smart pressure and smother and rush him, a good jab and hit him everywhere" *Results all the same*

im not a big floyd fan but man come on, floyd has actual head movement, leg movement and waist movement

he knew guerrero would rough him up if he stayed in the pocket so he pot shotted and moved against guerrero all night long
